Color My Heart for Spring

I am combining the Heart 2 Heart challenge to "spring" forward with the Color My Heart challenge to use Lagoon, Blue Denim and Pear.  This would be very easy if I had the new Close to My Heart  Later Sk8tr paper pack, but I don't so...  The butterfly was cut using the Paper Lace Cricut Cartridge.  I sponged the Lagoon layer with a bit of Blue Denim and, after embossing the Pear layer, sponged on a little Pear ink to make it pop a bit more.  I used my computer to make the sentiment as I did not have one that fit what I had in mind:

I should also mention that some of the Design Team Members at Heart 2 Heart will be offering blog candy this month.  This week Tamytha is offering a chance to win some really cool prizes including paper!  Hop on over to her blog, Paper Heartist, to check it out.   Thank you for stopping by!  Until next time, Hansi

  1. This is a similar butterfly to the one that you submitted last week for Color my Heart. I so enjoy watching the butterflies in my gardens in the summer months. Thanks for joining us this week at Color my Heart.

  3. Fantastic job of "making do" with your stash and tools for the requirements of this week's dare at Color My Heart.! It resulted in another lovely card. You do such a good job of finishing the insides of your cards, too. Thanks for the inspiration--Bring on spring, I say!

  5. Hi Hansi! Since I don't see a way to contact your email through your blog, I thought I'd let you know through a comment. :) (Love your card, by the way!) Your name was selected as the winner of the blog candy, so head over to my blog and click on the contact tab. You'll see my email address there. Feel free to email me with both your prize choice and your shipping address. I'll do my best to get it out to you within a day or two of getting your email. Congratulations!

  6. Beautiful card for both these challenges! I love all the embossing you've done, but my favorite part is those tiny sparkles added to the butterfly!
    Thanks for sharing with H2H!
